Recipe: Chicken Breast Presentation

Learn how to prepare a chicken breast for presentation as you would get it in high end restaurant. All your friends will think you've hired in a professional chef to prepare this chicken.

Cooking Method

  1. Remove the chicken from the fridge 10 minutes before cooking to bring it up to room temperature
  2. Season the breast on both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear the chicken skin side down in a pan that is on a high heat until the skin is golden brown.
  4. Add the rosemary to the pan.
  5. Flip the chicken breast over and sear on the other side.
  6. Place the breast skin side down into the oven at 180C of 360F for about 15 minutes or until fully cooked. If you are not sure if it is fully cooked slice in half and make sure the juices run clear
  7. When the breast is removed from the oven add a knob of butter to the pan and baste some of the cooking liquor over the breast.
  8. Slice and serve.

  • Knob of Butter
