Szechuan and European cuisine in the heart of the city is the order of the day at Emerald Gardens. Ireland has no shortage of Chinese restaurants of varying quality, but the Gardens is a pretty safe bet. It is fully licensed, and has a surprisingly well-stocked wine cellar. Ideal, then, for a relatively inexpensive taste of the Orient.

I laughed when I found this restaurant on this site as it brought back the memories of a great night! We were here on holidays and it was my partners first night drinking wine - he polished off a full bottle before the starters even ... Read more...

Just ok

This used to be a favourite of mine and had high expectations on my return visit but I was sorely disappointed. The glitz of the place was gone and so was the wine waiter that they once had( recession eh!). Still nice food but just ... Read more...
