Well I finally got round to sampling the cuisine in Tra Ban at the weekend ( I tried so many times to get a table but it was always booked out....that kinda speaks for itself doesn’t it?). Anyway, it was well worth the wait: the food, service and atmosphere are second to none and myself and my husband agreed it was the most enjoyable meal we’ve had in a long long time. I highly recommend the Kattafi King Prawns as a starter, (my husband loved the Mushroom Vol au Vent) ......then he had the Reef on Beef (Lobster tail on a choice of Fillet, Sirloin or T-Bone steak)... might I add the steak was done exactly to his liking, while I had the Halibut which was cooked & served in foil with beautiful vegetables, really unusual. I heard the other day that Westlife love to eat there when they’re home so if it’s good enough for them........!! Suffice to say we’ll definitely be returning in the near future, looking forward to it already.
