Great Hotel and Restaurant

reviewed by: Michelle1 21 June 2011

We were on the Shannon for the week and having been in the Wineport Lodge before as a special treat- decided to moor here for an evening instead of Athlone- made a reservation and informed them that we would "be arriving by boat!" The quote of the week! - The weather was fantastic - ate inside the restaurant and had a glass of vino after. For starters - fois gras, brasola salad, mains pork belly and john dory also a nice bottle of rioja. At €133 it was a little expensive for 2 but a big treat! A very nice place for a treat!

Michelle1 would recommend.Michelle1 would not use again.
