Woodstock has been variously described as "an institution" in Phibsborough and a "rite of passage"! Its famous cooked breakfast has been a hit with regulars and GAA fans on their way to Croke Park for more than 16 years. Wholesome brekkie options include porridge or granola and the ladies in particular love our range of fruit scones and brown bread. From 12 o'clock its honest to God carvery (say it proud "meat and two veg"!) with a shocking range of cakes and pudding for afters - or with a cuppa. There is also a delicious and nutritious salad and sandwich bar with favourites such as the Ploughman's on Rye with smoked cheese and homecooked ham, Roast Beef with red onion marmalade or Sticky Cheddar Cheese and Onion Quiche. But its not only the food, its who's inside that counts... suits, coppers, smug couples, the hot girl from next door, old dears, rock stars, sports fans and hippies...the customers make the atmosphere!

This place is always busy. Popped in here for a solo lunch recently. Nice spot could do with a bit of an uplift to the décor, was very quiet when I was in there. Only ate a sandwich but overall the menu looked lovely. Would return ... Read more...

Good food,little bit dirty,floors need a good scrubbing..The food was still good, but my appetite was struggling after visiting the toilets to wash my hands Read more...
